December 20-22, 2016 under the work program of Ukrainian-Chinese research center for fiber crops on the basis of the Daqing Branch of the Academy of Sciences of Heilongjiang province of the People's Republic of China held a scientific workshop on the selection of technical hemp. Ukrainian side was represented by Senior Researcher of plant breeding and seed cannabis Institute of Bast Crops HAAH Kmetz Irina and Sergei Mishchenko.

 

The seminar raised diverse issues, special attention was paid to the peculiarities bookmark nurseries hybridization conditions of vegetation house and phytotron, the development of cross-breeding schemes used in practical selection of useful mutations.

 

At the end of the workshop, participants decided on the further direction of collaborative research in the framework of the Ukrainian-Chinese research center.
